Drone technology is currently being widely used in the industry in general, and Gas & Oil in particular, for the inspection of assets located in inaccessible, restricted, potentially dangerous places or hostile environments allowing their visualization and analysis.
Asset inspection in offshore facilities, refineries, pipelines and pipelines is a clear example of the use of this technology.
Through drones we obtain videos and images in high definition and 3D data that subsequently allow the digitization and management of the asset throughout its useful life; such data can be loaded into databases compatible with extended use operation and maintenance management programs.
